Exhibition Call Out

Arbeit invites all artists, designers and makers who live in Hackney Wick to submit work for a group show at the Trowbridge Gardens Gallery, Hackney Wick, E9 5LD. Viewpoint, will display original works by locals who have been inspired by the area. Inspiration may be from nature, new builds or simply everyday life living in Hackney Wick. We wish to celebrate all types of visual creativity and showcase the wide variety of innovative professionals in the area from architects, to fashion designers, to ceramicists and beyond.

Thingy Café

Thingy Café is a tenant in Trowbridge gardens that provide delicious snacks for tenants and the public. They create a great social environment for the young and elderly.

Hackney Herbal

Hackney Herbal are tenants in Trowbridge gardens who host workshops online on gardening for free for the local community. They also participated in planting the front garden giving Trowbridge garden a more greener and sustainable look to the environment.

Well-Being

Therapy on Tour

Therapy on Tour is a tenant in Trowbridge gardens that organize discounted Counselling/Psychotherapy for local residents to help them during the pandemic.

Men’s Shed

Trowbridge Gardens also coordinates the Men’s Shed in collaboration with Wick Award. Which is a workshop that helps men over 50s mental health by getting them involved in gardening.

We want to provide a thriving community space, for the people of Hackney Wick.

 

Trowbridge Gardens are working collaboratively with other small and local community groups to map the needs of Hackney Wick's people. 

 

​ Arbeit is managing the site with Hackney Council and working in partnership with the Greater London Authority.
