Trowbridge Gardens is a community space dedicated to art and well-being.
We are working with other small and local community groups to map the needs of Hackney Wick's people.
Arbeit is managing the site with Hackney Council and working in partnership with the Greater London Authority.
We will be leasing the Trowbridge Gardens from Hackney Council for the next seven years as part of a council project to deliver affordable workspace for existing small, independent and artistic firms in Hackney Wick while redevelopment takes place on other sites in the area, enabling them to stay locally.
Trowbridge Centre used to be a social service, it has now been transformed into a creative work place, offering a range or artists studios and offices, a cafe, a fitness club, gardens, and a gallery all within one space in East London.
Most units benefit from natural light. The studios are about 2 minutes from Hackney Wick Station.
Trowbridge Gardens will become a new creative hub from this autumn with more than 20 studios, we can offer to local residents.
The Studios are surrounded by a lovely garden which is managed by Hackney Herbal.
We are inviting artists, designers, freelancers and small businesses from Hackney Wick and Fish Island to to view the space and to tell us what they need as a business.
We have 27 Studios onsite from 100sqft - 160sqft, most with natural light.
